Create opportunities for everyone to thrive

Thank you for sustaining our work.

  • A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle managed by a public charity (sponsoring organization) that allows donors to make contributions, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to qualified charities over time.

If you are a Donor-Advised Fund holder, you can recommend a grant be given to Creamos directly through your DAF.

Feel free to email our Development team (development@creamosguatemala.org) to discuss further.

  • Many companies will match the donation made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply the impact of your gift to Creamos. Procedures, conditions, and criteria for matching gifts vary by employer. Some will also match donations made by spouses, retirees, and board members.

  • Legacy giving is charitable giving that you strategically plan now that benefits a nonprofit or charity after your lifetime. You can leave a gift for Creamos that will create impact for generations.

  • Creamos partners with CharityVest to receive stock, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), or crypto donations. CharityVest makes it easy to set up a profile, choose your favorite eligible nonprofit, and initiate a transfer.

Donating long-term appreciated securities can result in larger income tax deductions and more money going to charities by allowing donors to deduct the full fair market value, avoid capital gains taxes, and use the full liquidated value for charitable giving.

Donate stock, ETFs, or crypto here.

Your gift has a real impact.

  • Irma came to Creamos first as a mother, enrolling her children in the Accelerated Education Program. Returning to her own education had long been a dream, but one she believed was no longer possible. Then she learned about Creamos' flexible adult learning program. She completed her secondary education in her sixties and was then admitted to Guatemala's national university, where she's now pursuing a degree in pedagogy and human rights.

"When professors call us 'future graduates,' I still ask myself: when did all this happen?"

Irma's journey proves that the freedom to choose your path has no age limit.

  • Victoria came to Creamos in search of economic opportunity. Through Creamos' Workforce Development Program, Victoria participated in the Barista training and now works as a barista, supporting her family with formal employment.

For Victoria, independence is everything. "I don't want to depend on anyone. I want to support myself and my son."

Victoria has found a passion for Guatemala’s specialty coffee and dreams of sharing it internationally. Formal employment has given Victoria and her son financial stability, but more importantly, it has given her the freedom to choose her own future, whatever that may hold.

  • Through Creamos' Emotional Support Program, María and hundreds of women access individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation and community workshops focused on healing and growth. In these spaces, participants like María boost their self-esteem, process trauma, and build mutual support networks.

For women who often face their struggles in isolation, the program offers something powerful: the realization that they are not alone, and the tools to envision futures they once thought impossible.
